Nightly Met Opera Streams: April 20–26

Met Opera free Nightly Opera Streams continue with a week of operas both scintillating and searing. From Strauss`s thrilling psychodrama Elektra, starring Nina Stemme (pictured) in a masterful staging by Patrice Chéreau, to Rossini`s La Cenerentola, an effervescent take on the Cinderella story starring Joyce DiDonato and Juan Diego Flórez, it`s a lineup that runs the operatic gamut. The week also includes an unprecedented free event: Our newly announced virtual At-Home Gala on April 25, featuring more than 40 artists performing live from their homes around the world at 1PM EDT.
